Leading the development of enterprise data governance and master data management capabilities, the full-time remote Data Governance Manager will establish policies, manage implementation of a new MDM platform, and enhance data quality and usability across the organization. Key responsibilities Own and continuously improve the data governance framework, including policies, standards, and accountability models Assess current master data domains and lead the implementation of the selected MDM platform, ensuring effective coordination with internal teams and vendors Define data quality dimensions and build a network of data owners and stewards to ensure consistent execution of governance practices Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience 5 - 7+ years of progressive experience in data governance, master data management, or related roles Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and familiarity with MDM platforms such as Profisee, Informatica, or comparable tools Strong knowledge of governance operating models, metadata, and data quality practices Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and facilitate change management initiatives
